Derby’s oldest architectural practice, Morrison Design Limited has promoted Anthony Page to Associate Director.
Anthony joined the firm in February 2004 and has 15 years’ experience working in the commercial, science and technology, blue light, public and predominantly hotel sectors.
He has managed teams and project managed several high profile architectural projects which have included redevelopment of the Doubletree by Hilton – London, West End hotel. He has also been a driving force in implementing and delivering the use of technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM) within Morrison Design.
In his role as Associate Director, Anthony will continue to lead high profile projects, ensure the firms internal IT and quality assurance protocols are maintained, and support the Director team to grow and develop the firm.

Anthony is a fully qualified architectural technologist and holds a HNC in Building Construction, a BSc in Architectural Technology and Practice and an Advanced University Diploma in Advanced Architectural CAD and Building Information (BIM). Since 2017, Anthony has also been a guest lecturer at Derby College where he helps students understand the use of Modelling (BIM) in modern day architectural practices.
Based in Derby, Morrison Design has a particular specialism in the hotel sector and has worked for hotel owners operating leading brands such as Doubletree by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, Crown Plaza, Point A and Mercure. Assignments have included new build, refurbishment and space planning projects for commercial and hotel developments based across the UK and in major cities including London, Dublin and Glasgow.
Locally the firm has been appointed as the lead architect on projects for Rolls Royce, Lubrizol and Morley Hayes.
While the origins of Morrison Design date back to 1948, the seventy year old firm began a new era of ownership in 2019, when Directors Nik Clarke, Peter Newman-Earp and Dave Gardner completed a management buy-out.
