Sigma Capital Group plc, the private rented sector (“PRS”), residential and urban regeneration specialist, has expanded its team with five new starters in London, Manchester and Edinburgh after growing its portfolio significantly along with the announcement of its London joint venture with EQT Real Estate to initially deliver c. 3,000 homes with a value in excess of £1bn.
Dane Matthews joins from Touchstone Corporate Property Services as Asset Manager for London. Dane is passionate about placemaking and regeneration and will be working on the mobilisation of the London fund assets, delivering market leading standards of service and reporting to key stakeholders.
James Carter has joined the business from Equity Housing Group as Assistant Property Asset Manager and will be working across the ‘Simple Life’ and ‘DifRent’ brands. Ann Robinson joins Sigma as Contracts Administrator, supporting project managers by collating building and construction contacts, documents and paperwork. Meanwhile Chloe Jury has expanded the marketing team working as a Marketing Executive responsible for preparing marketing materials for new sites launching across the UK.
In Finance, Ian Aitken has joined Sigma as Financial Controller with specific responsibility for the PRS REIT. Ian’s last role was as Senior Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Victoria Risk joins the Company as Group Financial Planning and Treasury Manager after having previously worked for Baxters.
Sigma has been successfully delivering PRS homes across the regions of the UK since 2015 through it joint ventures with Gatehouse and UK PRS Properties and established the PRS REIT in 2017. In September 2020, the Company announced the launch of a joint venture with EQT Real Estate to deliver high quality, new-build homes for private rent in Greater London. The joint venture is supported by Homes England, the housing agency of the UK Government and is targeting an initial portfolio of c.3,000 homes with a value in excess of £1bn.
