Affordable housebuilder, Orbit Homes, will be delivering 29 brand-new houses in the village of Enstone, near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.
The proposed scheme will be 100% affordable, comprising of 15 social rent and 14 shared ownership properties, which will include a range of one, two, three, and four-bedroom homes.
Orbit Homes purchased the 4.23-acre site from Grevayne Properties. The site is surrounded by agricultural fields and will utilise £1,685,000 of grant funding through the Homes England Strategic Partnership (HESP) programme and £450,000 of Recycled Grant Funding (RCGF).

The first houses are expected to be completed in 2023/ 2024, with the remainder being delivered in 2024/ 2025.
The site is located south of the Oxford Road in the village of Enstone, which has a population of 1,139. Enstone is situated east of Chipping Norton and 18 miles west of Bicester, and has a number of local amenities including cafés, a post office, pub, church, community hall with an active Parish Council, and a primary school.
