Samsung Climate Solutions continues to strengthen their Sales team to support their customers’ growing businesses. The Cooling team welcomes Ben Whittingham to enhance their service in meeting customers’ air conditioning needs. Meanwhile, Sunny Vashisht and Ian Barnes are great additions to the heating team, keeping pace with the growing heat pump market.
Ben Whittingham is the new Samsung Account Manager for cooling in the South West, bringing years of experience into the team. He started his career within the HVAC industry as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer in Dorset, before moving on to a sales based role as Business Development Manager in Midea UK. Ben commented:
“With the pure draw of the Samsung brand and the successful team expansion, it was an easy and obvious choice to join Samsung Climate Solutions.”
Sunny Vashisht joins the ever-growing heating team as Business Development Manager in the Midlands and the North. He brings to the team his interest in technology and passion about heat pumps. He started as graduate at Vent-Axia before moving to specialise in heat pumps and working towards UK decarbonisation targets, focusing on house builders and the social housing sector.
On joining Samsung, Sunny said:
“A big factor of joining Samsung was the brand’s focus on innovation and thinking outside the box. Instead of just looking at the heat pump, Samsung looks at the whole house and how everything works together. The breadth of the product portfolio here is great and perfectly placed for the upcoming growth in the market. Also, the family culture that Climate Solutions has developed with great people as its biggest asset was another factor for me.”
Ian Barnes joins the team as Business Development Manager for the heating distribution business in the North. He has been in the plumbing and heating industry for 20 years, working for merchant channels, installers and manufacturers. In recent years, he has sold circulator pumps into building services and industrial applications, helping customers lower their energy usage. Ian looks forward to continue helping homeowners find the best heating solutions for their everyday lives, playing his part in working towards UK decarbonisation targets.
Andy Burt, Head of Sales, Samsung Climate Solutions commented:
“We are really pleased to welcome Ben, Ian and Sunny to our ever-growing team, bringing further expertise and knowledge to an already talented group of people. They all compliment the team in place and are part of our long term strategy to become the market leader in providing innovative connected technology.”
