Avant Homes has promoted Alicia Hattersley to the position of group head of marketing in just over a year since she joined the business.
Alicia was hired by the multi-tenure housebuilder as group marketing manager from Gleeson Homes where she was brand and communications manager for two-and-a-half years.
Since joining the company she has led a brand refresh, delivered an entirely new consumer and corporate website as well as playing a pivotal role in enhancing marketing and sales processes.
At the same time, Alicia has grown the marketing team from two to six people to enable the in-house delivery of social media, content production and design services.
She holds a first-class honours degree in multimedia journalism from The Manchester Metropolitan University and has a wide range of experience working in both agency and in-house.
Alicia was hired by Avant Homes regional chairman, Mark Cook, who said:

She has made a tremendous positive impact, both strategically and tactically, in a relatively short space of time which has significantly enhanced our marketing effectiveness. Avant Homes Group, which has its head office in Barlborough, near Chesterfield, operates across Scotland, the north of England and Midlands from eight regional operating businesses.
The housebuilder’s ambition is to develop its multi-tenure business further across its existing regions and beyond, creating communities as well as providing employment opportunities. At present, Avant Homes Group employs more than 600 people.
