One of the largest commercial office refurbishment schemes to be awarded in 2013, the completed project – which was formerly known as Bush House and encompassed four buildings around a central courtyard and undercroft – was renamed Aldwych Quarter.
The project delivered over 300,000 sq ft of high-specification Cat A office accommodation. ISGĀ stripped out the buildings to shell & core and comprehensively upgraded and modernised the internal space, installing new mechanical & electrical services, replacing 14 of the existing lifts and delivering an additional lift to enhance accessibility. The Cat A fit out also included the installation of raised access floors and suspended ceilings, four new high specification reception areas, new cycle facilities and toilets. The programme was carefully designed to enable the phased handover of accommodation, enabling the marketing agent, Jones Lang LaSalle, the opportunity to provide potential tenants with flexible occupation scenarios.
