Architecture and interior design practice Barr Gazetas has just achieved 141.9 B Corporation Certification, believed to be the highest rating for a UK architectural practice yet. The median score for ordinary businesses who complete the assessment is currently 50.9.

Barr Gazetas’ commitment to their employees, values and projects, alongside its ESG-focused governance, inspired the practice to undergo the certification process. The certification was confirmed this September, and they now join a community of over 2,000 B Corp companies in the UK. The firm holds a reputation as a people and environmentally focussed practice and the certification process provided a great opportunity to revisit the effectiveness of its internal processes as well as strengthen its ongoing commitment and drive to ESG.
