Leading architectural practice HTC Architects has announced new growth with the opening of a London office.
The Leeds-based firm – which lists retail giant Lidl and other major household names including JYSK and Tungsten Properties amongst its portfolio – has joined with Godsmark Architecture to expand its client base in the south and diversify into new sectors.
The now 37-strong company will open in London under the banner HTC Architects from Godsmark’s existing office in Shoreditch, as well as Britannia Street, Leeds.
Peter Humphreys, a founding partner of HTC Architects, comments:
“This is a natural progression for us to meet our business strategy by giving our team the best advantage in offering services to current clients whilst also enabling more streamlined growth. As an integrated practice we will be able to work more effectively across the UK, particularly serving our growing portfolio in London and across the South of England. By pooling the resources of both our companies we can also diversify into high-end residential, public, and leisure projects.”
Tim Godsmark, who founded Godsmark Architecture in 2002, adds:
“This exciting association grew from our common environmental and social concerns, goals, and design philosophies and benefits both practices whilst enhancing our design services for clients throughout the country. There are so many shared values between our firms that this partnership felt extremely natural to us. We’re looking forward to using our combined capacity to deliver even better, and efficient, results for all our clients.”
Over the years, HTC has developed a strong presence in the commercial, industrial, retail, and residential architectural sectors; with Godsmark specialising in high-end residential, public, and leisure projects.
