SevenHomes, the regional housebuilder by SevenCapital Group, has acquired a 13-acre development site in Frampton on Severn, near Stroud, to bring circa 60 new homes to the area.
Located within the picturesque village of Frampton on Severn just off the River Severn, the new development, named Frampton Fields, has been earmarked by the housebuilder to build a range of high-quality two, three and four-bedroom homes with a considerable amount of the site allocated to open green space, and an expected gross development value (GDV) of £14.5 million.
Frampton Fields will offer a quaint rural location to future homeowners, surrounded by open countryside with close ties to key transport links, including the M5 motorway, which provides easy access to nearby Bristol and Gloucester.
Steeped in history, Frampton on Severn once played a crucial role in the processing and transporting of imported goods from its canals to the iconic Cadbury factory in Birmingham’s Bournville. Now, it is home to a thriving village community with schools, sports clubs, and a handful of country pubs.
Jonathan Richards, managing director for SevenHomes, said: “Frampton Fields is in a brilliant location, offering a variety of facilities desired by modern families all within walking distance, as well as plenty of open green space and a rich historical charm. The range of two and three-bedroom homes will also offer younger residents the opportunity to stay within the village.
“Since lockdown, we have seen increased demand for rural homes that offer more space to work comfortably from home, and this development, subject to planning, will tick those boxes.”
SevenHomes will now prepare an application for planning for the new homes.
