Bristowe (Fair Rent) Housing Association has completed a transfer of engagements of 79 homes in the Bristol area to the Stonewater Group.
Stonewater has been working together with Bristowe (Fair Rent) Housing Association and its managing agent, BNS, over the last 10-12 months to ensure that the transfer of the homes has been seamless for customers.
The homes are a mix of general needs and leasehold rented flats, spread across five different schemes around the Bristol area.
The wider Southwest is one of Stonewater’s largest operating areas with over 11,500 homes. The Group also provides vital supported living accommodation in the area, including a young people’s foyer in Exeter.
Jonathan Layzell, Chief Officer for Customer Experience and Growth at Stonewater, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Bristowe customers to the Stonewater group through this transfer and expand our presence in what’s a key area of operation for us. Like so many other places in the country, Bristol has an acute shortage of good quality affordable housing and there are too many people, waiting too long, for a home they can call their own. Stonewater is already tackling the housing crisis head on, including significant investment in local development around the Bristol area. We’re also proud to offer a great customer experience, which now extends to all Bristowe’s former residents, and remain committed to supporting in the local community.”
