Luxury housebuilder Hayfield is investing in new talent with the appointment of an Oxford Brookes graduate to its production department.
Matt Dandy has joined the Solihull-headquartered business as a Trainee Assistant Site Manager following the completion of his BSc Honours degree in Real Estate earlier this year.
Matt is the first graduate to join Hayfield’s Graduate Development Programme in its inaugural year. which followed the launch of the company’s Industrial Placement Programme in 2021.
Originally from Cranleigh, 22-year-old Matt will have the opportunity to spend time with each team in order to fully understand what makes Hayfield tick and to deepen his understanding of the construction industry.
He said:
“I’m excited to join Hayfield at such an innovative time for the construction industry, and to be a part of the pledge to be net zero by 2030 – high quality construction and energy efficient solutions are of real interest to me.
“I’m already learning a lot about the future of sustainable construction which is so important in today’s climate, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to further my career as part of such a committed company. Hayfield’s focus on the development and wellbeing of its people has been evident from the start of the recruitment process and has continued since I joined and were key factors in my decision to apply for a Graduate placement here.”
